MNI offers photo diode / pin diode / ESD protection custom designs, masks and production services from Customer's specification throughout the entire product development cycle. It includes feasibility study, design and layout, mask, sample production, and upon sample approval, volume production. Samples are usually available after 8 to 16 weeks depending on complexity. Prodution takes 4 to 6 weeks from approval.

MNI offers production in both wafer and package forms.
Photodiodes are proposed as high-voltage (450V) photodiode arrays on dielectrically isolated (DI) wafers and can be combined with the control circuitry as in driver chips for SCRs.
MNI designs and manufactures PIN diodes to customers specifications using the proprietary HSPD Process. The PIN diodes are proposed in high resistivity "near intrinsic" EPI wafers for use in fast switches (RF microwave), photo-detectors and high voltage power electronic applications.

Typical requirements for Custom PIN diodesESD protections are proposed as single channel and multi-channel low capacitance (below 1pF) ESD protection diodes, to suppress transient voltages caused by human body contact (ESD lightning) and spikes from industrial equipment (EOS). Typical applications are hand-held devices (cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players..) and ethernet/telecom interfaces. Delivery in both packaged and die form allows system designers to meet the most stringent size, performance and cost expectations.
